This past year has been pivotal for The Bolger Foundation. New trustees brought fresh energy and perspective to the board and foundation. Furthermore, we are now among the 1 in 10 US foundations that have their own website. TheBolgerFoundation.org features an online application form and blog. In addition, our clearly defined mission and direction enabled The Bolger Foundation to give more than $1 million to 14 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in 2022. We look forward to expanding our outreach in 2023.
My grandfather David F. Bolger was a great man who started an awesome foundation with a simple goal in mind: giving back to the community around him.…The ability to keep the lifelong work of my grandfather alive and to put a modern twist on it under the direction of the new board means the world to me.
The Bolger Foundation is pleased to announce that Christian Health Care (Wyckoff, NJ) has met the fundraising goal set forth in the terms of their 2021 challenge grant from the foundation. Challenge grants can be a win-win for nonprofits and donors alike.
